The name is also spelled Alliès. He became a soldier in the regiment of Vermandois on 1 September 1779, and was promoted corporal on 17 August 1781. He left the regiment on 3 August 1783. He became a captain of the 1st battalion of volunteers of Aveyron on 19 December 1791. Appointed lieutenant-colonel commanding the battalion on 7 July 1792. Became commander of the 16th Light at the first "amalgame", on 29 November 1794. Commander of the 22nd Light at the second amalgame, in March 1796. Declared unfit for service on 21 November 1798, he retired on 14 November 1810 with the rank of Colonel. Source: Bouvier, F.
