Beust, Colonel Baron von

Austrian officer. He is mentioned by Schels as commanding a brigade during May 1796, but he is not listed in Wurzbach (not even in the various appendices). He may, however, have been of Saxon origins. Alternatively, it is possible that Schels is referring to Baron Albert Johann de Best, though Wurzbach only mentions the latter as being in Italy in 1797.
